We’re a couple of days into March now, and spring is definitely on the way here. The days are a little warmer, and we’re getting regular rain showers. Daylight Saving Time is coming up, which doesn’t seem relevant anymore since we’ve moved from a mostly agricultural society, but whatever.
How are you preparing for spring? Planning a garden? Getting the sports equipment out of storage? Anticipating a trip? Here are some other things to look forward to as well!
1. 1 International Fun at Work Day
We spend a whole lot of time there; we may as well try to enjoy ourselves.
2. 7 National Beer Day
Our local brewpubs are starting to promote this one. I’m seeing a lot of new bottles on the shelf.
3. 12 Easter Sunday
New clothes, special church services, egg hunts, and chocolate!
4. 15 Tax Day
Not necessarily something to celebrate, but definitely one to be aware of.
5. 22 Earth Day
It’s not like we have a lot of spare planets we can get to.
6. 29 International Dance Day
Grab a partner and hit the dance floor!
7. Week 4 National Karaoke Week
Don’t want to dance? How about singing instead?
8. National Pet Month
Four legs, six or eight legs, fins, feathers, scales, this is the day to celebrate your critter buddies.
There are lots of things to celebrate in April. Have something else special going on? Do a search from our home page to find great mugs. Remember, too, U.S. orders of two or more mugs get free shipping!
