It’s hard to adult sometimes.
Having time to ourselves to do whatever we want to do is a valuable commodity, and one we absolutely don’t have to feel guilty over. You have to recharge the batteries somehow, right?
March 22 is National Goof Off Day, so go ahead and make arrangements to carve out some time for yourself. We’ve got some suggestions!
1. Binge Watch
Pull up every episode of a favorite TV show, or all of the movies with that actor or director you like. Heck, read a whole book series if you prefer.
2. Video Games
Immerse yourself in a quest, go raiding, or try to get past that water level. Video games are a great way to spend your downtime.
3. Geek Out
If video isn’t your thing, how about live action role playing? There are groups dedicated to comic characters, game characters, medieval recreation, and more.
Instead of pop culture, go get some real culture. Visit a museum to learn more about art, natural history, science and technology, or whatever special interest you have.
And sometimes you don’t want to do anything, go anywhere, or see anyone. Catch up on that sleep that always seems to be in short supply.
