Autumn is finally here. That’s a big deal in the South, mainly because we get a break from the heat and humidity. Sports fans are reveling in football, kids are looking forward to Halloween, and we all start planning for family get-togethers later in the year.
Speaking of advanced planning, let’s take a look at some of the holidays and celebrations for November, so you can order your brand new mugs in plenty of time!
1. All Things Bookish
November 1st is Author’s Day, the 3rd is Book Lover’s Day, and of course, National Novel Writing Month runs all thirty days. Trust me, if there’s one thing writers need more than ideas, it’s caffeine.
November 5th is Guy Fawkes Day, and the 6th is Election Day. Politics isn’t very exciting, but it is important, so make your voice heard. (We don’t recommend using gunpowder.)
November 8th is Cook Something Bold Day, so hit the kitchen! There are millions of recipes out there; find a few to experiment with!
November 11th is Veteran’s Day, so be sure to thank those men and women that served.
5. See Ya!
November 17th is Take a Hike Day. One benefit of having milder weather is the ability to truly enjoy being outdoors. Go look at some leaves or something!
November 22nd is Thanksgiving this year. Yes, family can be a trial sometimes, but it’s better than the alternative.
November 23rd is National Espresso Day. You’ll need that extra energy for cleaning up after the feast, putting up decorations, and shopping!
8. To Scale
November is National Model Railroad Month. Lure your favorite builder out of the basement or garage with a fresh mug of coffee!
These are just some of the occasions you can celebrate in November. Remember, U.S. orders of two or more mugs get free shipping!
