October Holidays, 2020

Welcome to September! Autumn will finally get here—officially, anyway—and it’ll hopefully start cooling down from the dog days. This is the month most people began to transition from warm weather clothes and activities. Coats and sweaters come out of storage, you invariably have to buy new gloves, and you make sure boots still fit. Many people start canning in September. It’s also a great time to clean the house because you can leave the windows open for a breeze. Casual campers start to plan for the last opportunities for good weather, while skiers and snowboarders check their equipment to make sure it’s ready for the upcoming season.

Speaking of planning ahead, as always, we’re listing some of the special days you can observe next month. Let’s take a look!

1. October 1 – International Coffee Day

No, we didn’t create this one, but we’re sure happy that someone did. Have a look at everything we offer.

2. October 10 – National Motorcycle Ride Day

For when you want to get out and drive the open road. Fast.

3. October 16 – Bosses Day

Salute the person at the top of your org chart.

4. October 25 – International Artists Day

The art world gets a lot of criticism, but imagine how boring everything would be without it.

5. October 31 – Halloween

It’s one of the most popular holidays in the world. Of course we have mugs.

6. Third Week – National Retirement Security Week

It’s never too early to start planning.

7. Fourth Week – National Chemistry Week

There isn’t a single industry that doesn’t owe something to chemists.

8. Emotional Wellness Month

Because you have to take care of you before you can take care of anyone else.

This is just a sample of some of the days you can celebrate in October. Is there another day that’s special to you? You can search for other fun mugs on our home page. Remember, too, that U.S. orders of two or more mugs get free shipping!
