My grandmother loved Thanksgiving and Christmas. She would decorate every room, make homemade candy, send out dozens of hand-written cards, and cook.
And boy, could she cook.
She had hundreds of recipes in her head, and could plan a five course dinner with an hour’s notice, three crackers, and a suspicious lump of cheese. Not really, but she did make awesome food. Her fried chicken was always golden, the pumpkin pies were always perfectly spiced, the turkey and ham were juicy, the rolls were always hot and fluffy, the green beans crisp. It was the kind of food that makes memories, and you hope to recreate it at least once.
Thanksgiving is on November 28 this year. Celebrate what the holiday means to you with a new mug!
1. Giving Thanks
Probably the most obvious. It’s right there in the name, after all. Check out our Thanksgiving collection here.
Sure, every family has the black sheep or troublemaker, but you can enjoy the time with the others. Search for specific family mugs from our home page.
It’s not the holidays without a sweet potato pie (or two). What’s your favorite dish?
We covered a lot of travel choices in this blog entry. How will you get to where you’re going?
5. The Centerpiece
One popular perception is that turkeys are dumb. Another is that they’re delicious with gravy. This mug covers both.
We at Mugdom would like to take this opportunity to say “Thank You!” to all of our customers. We wouldn’t be here without you, and we always look forward to introducing new designs for you. Remember, U.S. orders of two or more mugs get free shipping, and that’s something else to be thankful for!
